Since the appearance of nation-states, the forms of sovereignty have fragmented and changed according to the spirit of their time, they have dissolved and gone through a process of secularization and mediatization. From its original niche of God-King and Emperor of the World the sovereign has become dandy, celebrity, dictator and star; each of these transformations keeps the essence of the original relation of exception.
